I’m amazed when I stumble across the unexpected that simultaneously makes me laugh, cry and wonder why. While visiting Granville Island in beautiful Vancouver I saw these wonderful characters. They were painted on a cement companies’ mixing containers. I stood there looking at them for what seemed like hours wondering why a cement company would even care about making something mundane full of life. And then I started wondering how they did it and how long it took to paint them. I didn’t get the answers but enjoyed the spirit and humor this company was willing to invest in.
